MIPS is engineered to add at least 10% extra safety to the standard construction of helmets in case of certain impacts. The MIPS Brain Protection System (BPS) is attached inside the helmet, between the comfort padding and the EPS. The Rivale's fit is unparalleled, and thanks to its Safe-T Upsilon retention system the helmet is stable on the head. The 360° head belt ensures that there will be no pressure points on the skull, and the easy to use vertical adjustment provides a customized fit. The front of the helmet is designed with wider and longer vents which improve ventilation and can also serve as a place to securely dock sunglasses. The MET Roam MIPS is designed for all-mountain and enduro riding. The back of the head and the temples are especially in need of protection from impact, so we’ve increased the coverage around these key areas, without sacrificing the helmet’s light weight. The injection-molded visor is flexible to adapt to the shell of the helmet in a crash. This unique feature helps to manage extra rotational forces transferred to your neck. There are clips on the visor and a rear edge, which keep goggle straps in place during the ride, achieving ultimate compatibility with your eyewear. Featuring the MIPS-C2 rotational management system, the Roam is able to slide against the head in the case of a crash, redirecting damaging rotational motion. The MIPS-C2 solution separates the shell and the liner with a thin plastic Low Friction Layer (LFL). The Roam Mips features 22 vents that work together with the purpose-built internal channel to provide optimal airflow at high and low speed. The MET Roam has also been rewarded for its comfortable fit. Scientifically designed air vents harness the power of the Venturi effect, pushing out warm air within the helmet through specially positioned exhausts to ensure constant airflow. The MET Parachute MCR is MET's convertible full-face helmet developed for enduro, all-mountain and e-MTB riding. Parachute MCR is designed to be truly two helmets in one. The full-face has a stylish and aggressive look providing all-round protection, while the open face reflects the style of MET's all-mountain helmets. MCR stands for Magnetic Chinbar Release and instantly converts from full to open face helmet and back. MCR is MET's revolutionary system created in partnership with Fidlock.
